Local, licensed septic service for Wallace and all of Duplin County. Whether your tank is backing up tonight or you’re putting in a new system, we handle it — fast.
Wallace sits down in southern Duplin County where US-117 runs right through the middle of town and I-40 slips by just to the east off Exits 385 and 390. It's the county's biggest commercial town — the place folks from all over come to shop and eat — but drive a few minutes in any direction and you're in septic country. Out toward Rose Hill, Warsaw, Magnolia, Teachey, and up to the county seat in Kenansville, most homes run on a tank and a drain field, not city sewer. This is deep farm country — Duplin is the top hog-producing county in the nation and heavy in poultry too — with the Northeast Cape Fear River winding through and Duplin Winery just up NC-117 in Rose Hill. Out on these roads, that septic system in the yard is the only thing between you and a mess.
The trouble here is the coastal-plain ground. Sandy soils drain fast until a wet season pushes the water table up under the drain field, and then a tired system has nowhere to send anything. A lot of these tanks and fields went in during the 1970s through the '90s, and they're wearing out all at once. When it backs up into a tub, gurgles in the toilet, or bubbles up soggy in the yard, that's not something to sit on — you want somebody local who knows Duplin County ground and can get out here quick.
